I was all ready for the teacher ceremony in my yellow shirt. It was about 43 degrees Celsius today (~110 degrees Fahrenheit!!)
Every student made a gift to present to the teachers. Ana and I thought walking on their knees looked pretty painful.
First they paid respect to Buddha, then gave the gifts to the teachers.
The gifts (like I said, HAND-MADE) were amazing. They had all sorts of prizes for the most creative/best design/etc. It was really neat!Why don't students in the U.S. make gifts for the teachers?!!! :)
