It was freaking hot and there (of course) was no air-conditioning. Thank God we had those fans. The mosquitos were ferocious so we set up a bug net around the bed to keep my flesh safe. It worked . . . almost.
This was the "shower". That's right, I dumped water from that bowl all over my body to "clean" myself.
